Volleyball: Rwanda to face Uganda again to compete for the 5th place in African Cup of Nations Tournament
The national volleyball team is set to face Uganda again in the fifth round of the African Cup of Nations.
. Tunisia will compete the first place with Cameroon in African Cup of Nations turnament
. Morocco will face Egypt to compete the third place in African Cup of Nations turnament
Last weekend the two teams met in the final match of Group A, which ended in a 3-2 draw for Uganda.
The Rwandan national team, which was recently relegated in the quarter-finals by Morocco, secured a fifth-place finish after beating Nigeria 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-17).
In the match at the Petit Stade Amahoro in Remera on Monday, Rwanda easily won the first set by a score of 25-17.
Coach Paul De Tarso Milagres's side, assisted by a number of fans who came to watch the match, won the second set which seemed difficult in the 25-22 minute.
Rwanda vowed to compete for fifth place when they won the third set by 25-17 points and will face Uganda on Tuesday at 5pm at the end of the tournament.
Uganda secured a fifth place finish after beating the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19) in another match at the Petit Stade.
The Democratic Republic of Congo will face Nigeria from 3pm at Kigali Arena to compete for seventh place.
The final match of the season is expected to unite Tunisia, who beat Egypt 3-1 and Cameroon, who beat Morocco 3-1. This is the second time that the two teams will meet in the final of the tournament consecutively.
The third and fourth place matches will be between Morocco and Egypt.
