A typical Ukrainian girl known as "Joan of Arc of Ukraine" married her husband who was at war with Russia.
Popular sniper, Evgenia Emerald, 31, shared her "perfect wedding" with her followers on social media, adding that "a new family of patriotism is born".
Her wedding took place on the national holiday known as "Defender's Day" which took place over the weekend and is a special day in Ukraine to honor Ukrainian military veterans.
The couple has been on the front lines of the war in the Kharkiv region since the Russian offensive began in February.
The couple met for the first time shortly after Putin launched a surprise attack, and Emerald announced that they had agreed to live together in August just months after they met.
This woman wrote on Instagram: “Today I became a soldier's wife.
It happened on the battlefield… I couldn't imagine such a beautiful wedding!
you feel like every day could be your last and we don't want to stop living.
It's a special day - a big holiday. I want to thank all the soldiers. Glory to the hero!
I am happy for my boyfriend because today is his birthday. Now he will never forget his wedding anniversary. ”
